What are Your Options
Your options are many and varied and will depend on what information you can provide through consultation, your own thumbnails, and photo reference.
Consultations
The first consultation hour is on us. Finding out what you need, finding out if and how we can help you, is all part of the collaborative effort of producing theater.
Follow up consultations will be on an hourly basis.
Hourly rate for consultation $65
Design Fees
Full and partial designs are available. Depending on what you want and what you need, a quote will be provided for you. Kits can include, all necessary or requested consultations, requested drawings and models. If you are interested in a design, the first consultation will be specifics about what you want scenically, what is needed, and budget constraints.
Seminars and/or Workshops
Seminars and Workshops are based on an eight hour day and depend on the travel distance to the training site. Discounted rates will apply to more than a one day session or a grouping of a Seminar and Workshop
Quotes:
In order to quote you a fair price we ask that you provide your budget for the production. Our goal is to not only work with your artistic goal but to work within your own budget constraints.
For example:
You provide: a budget, a preliminary design possibly a thumbnail sketch. volunteers or capable students for the day, a place to set up and work and material and supplies with which to work.
I provide: material order for you to purchase, any tools which you do not have but are needed, interpretation of design into beginning stock scenery, and guidance for the day (usually an 8 hr. day) in constructing the scenic stock you need. An average cost for the day may run from $150-200 according to the volume of the build and the skill level of the help.
